Password mask

If you know some parts of the password, you can specify a mask to decrease the total number of passwords to be checked.

Note: you can only set the mask for fixed-length passwords.

Example: the password contains 8 characters, starts with an 'x', and ends with a '99'; the rest of the password is composed of small or capital letters. The mask will be "x?????99", and the character set will be All caps and All small. In the above example, the '?' chars indicate unknown symbols.

If you need using the '?' as part of the password, you can choose a different mask character for the '?' such as '#' or '*', and use a mask pattern of "x######?" (for mask symbol '#') or "x******?" (for mask symbol '*'). Select the mask symbol on Advanced Options page.
