You can specify the minimum and maximum password length.

 

If the minimum and maximum lengths are not the same, the program starts by trying the shorter passwords first. For example, if the minimum length is 3 characters and the maximum length is 7 characters, the program will try all 3-character passwords first, then all 4-character passwords, and so on. The current password length, as well as the current password, average speed, elapsed and remaining time, and the total and processed number of passwords are shown in the Program status. All of this information except average speed and elapsed time, which are global, is related only to the current password length.
