expand Expand—This command expands the currently selected key entry in a tree by showing any subkeys that selected key may have. Any sub-subkeys are also expanded, thereby showing this key of the tree in its entirety. Double-clicking on a collapsed key expands it one level deep.

collapse Collapse—This option hides any subkeys of the currently selected key. Double-clicking on an expanded key also collapses it.

goto Goto the same key
Depending on the options set in switchmod Switching mode the function Goto the same key lets you move to:

1)The node of the same name in the other snapshot (Switching mode | Switching between same keys in different snapshots).
Example:
   23.2.2003 11:09:12\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\HARDWARE goes to
   11.12.2003 19:54:35\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\HARDWARE

2) The node of the same name concerning two defined main nodes (Switching mode | Switching between same keys of two defined nodes)

It is possible that two main nodes could be in the same snapshot.
   Example:
   16.10.2004 0:12:22\HKEY_USERS\S-1-5-18 and
   16.10.2004 0:12:22\HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT as shown here:

swmod

AND in different snapshots.
   Example:
   16.10.2004 0:12:22\HKEY_USERS\S-1-5-18 and
   16.10.2004 2:16:44\HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT

If the switching mode option were set to Switching between same keys in different snapshots, the transition resulting from using the command Goto the same key in the following example would be:
16.10.2004 2:16:44\HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\AppEvents\EventLabels switches to the node
16.10.2004 0:12:22\HKEY_USERS\S-1-5-18\AppEvents\EventLabels

This option is useful when you need to compare two nearly identical branches of the Registry, which have different original paths. If you select these paths, you could compare their subnodes visually.
You can switch on this option: Switching mode by choosing Switching between same keys in different snapshots | Switching between same keys of two defined nodes and filling in the fields or basic nodes (First/Second defined node) with the help of the inssellect Insert selected Key button.
