To extract passwords from PST files (Outlook 97, 98, 2000, 2002/XP, 2003, 2007, 2010, 2013, 2016, 2019), use the Open PST file button and select the appropriate PST-file. The password will be recovered immediately, shown in the message box and written into the log window. You can copy the password to the Clipboard, launch Outlook from EINPB, and paste the password password from the Clipboard to avoid mistyping.
Please note that in some cases, the password recovered by EINPB may not match the original password. This is expected behavior due to the encryption algorithm used in Outlook. The recovered password will be accepted by Outlook even if it does not match the original.
