| Undo/Redo files can be created only from within the Comparison window by clicking |

| The *.REG files begin with a DELETE section, which is followed by an ADD section.
|

| The Delete section of an Undo.REG file contains the Keys and Values that will be removed from the Registry. These are any keys that are in the new snapshot and not in the old one.

| The Add section of an Undo.REG file contains the Keys and Value Names found in the earlier snapshot and not in the later one, as well as any Value Data in the earlier snapshot that was modified in the later one.

|
| Redo files are created in a similar way, but their function is reversed.
|
| The Delete section of a Redo.REG file contains the Keys and Values, which will be removed from the Registry. These are in the earlier snapshot and not in the later one.

| The Add section of a Redo.REG file contains the Keys and Value Names found in the later snapshot and not in the earlier one, as well as any Value Data in the later snapshot that had been modified from the earlier one.

| CAUTION! Use Undo/Redo files to modify the Registry only when it is absolutely necessary, having checked them beforehand, if possible. Be sure to back up the Registry files before using Undo/Redo files.
